Itinerary

People who have been on this trip have said that the itinerary for this trip should be called: Eat, Sleep and Be with the Whales! That is pretty much a summary of what we do! However, there are a few more activities available, the typical flow of which is described below. Please note that times listed are approximate. Specific times for all events are announced on board.

• Saturday:
  Arrive in Puerta Plata (or Santiago), Dominican Republic. A shuttle van will be waiting for you at the airport to take you to the dock to board the ship anytime after 5 pm. Wind Dancer will be our "live aboard" mother ship all week. We will board smaller motor vessels twice daily for our close up whale encounters. During our first evening together we will have getting acquainted time, dinner, our opening meditation, and a creation of a mandala from our gifts for the whales.

• Sunday:
  The ship begins cruising from port to Silver Banks at approximately midnight. The journey of about 90 miles takes around 8-9hours. Sunday morning is free and unscheduled.

More getting acquainted time, lunch, and orientation from the captains

1:30 – 5 pm
Snorkeling practice and Small Boat Excursions to be with the Whales

7 pm – 8 pm
Dinner and Fun Sharing of the day's experiences

8 pm – 9 pm
Evening Meditation Circle: may include time for quiet sharing of sacred moments of the day; silent and guided meditation; ending the day with gratitude, peace and sending love to the whales

• Monday - Thursday:
  Dawn - 7:30 am
  Silent Time on upper decks to provide quiet time for private meditation, yoga, journaling or simply quiet time to be with ourselves and the sea

Morning Meditation Circle: may include time for quiet, personal sharing; silent and guided meditation; offering our gifts of nature and energy to the whales; beginning the day with gratitude, peace and sending love to the whales

7:30 am ~ Breakfast

8 am - 11:30 am

Amazing Grace: At sunset, we gather on upper deck and hold hands as we listen to a rendition of Amazing Grace with whale songs as we watch the sun go down

• Friday:
  6 am – 8 am
  Silent Time on upper deck to provide quiet time for private meditation, yoga, journaling or simply quiet time with ourselves and the sea

7:30 – 8:15 am
Morning Meditation Circle: may include time for quiet, personal sharing; silent and guided meditation; offer our gifts of nature and energy to the whales; beginning the day with gratitude, peace and sending love to the whale

8:30 am ~ Breakfast and ship begins crusing back to Puerta Plata
Lunch is served buffet style

Late afternoon ~ Arrival to port

Most passengers leave ship to shop (especially for Larimar!),
explore and have dinner in Puerto Plata.

• Saturday Morning:
  Taxis and shuttles will be arranged to meet passengers at pre-arranged times, to transport them to the airport for flights or take to local hotels if staying in the area.

Telepathic Communication with the Whales:

Every participant on this trip will have their own private, unique experiences of communication with the whales. To assist those who want it, Teresa will conduct informal workshops and individual coaching throughout the week on telepathic communication with the whales and companion animals.

Interested participants will receive a complimentary CD on these topics from Teresa prior to the trip. 

Please Note: All small boat excursions, group meditations and other activities are voluntary. Some guests opt to spend considerable time alone to process their experience privately. You will be supported in whatever choices you make for your day to day interactions.
